The Kildare and Leighlin pilgrimage to Knock this year is scheduled to take place on Sunday 6th June 2010.
As in previous years Fr. Liam Lawton and the Diocesan Choir will lead the singing. This event is always well attended and this year we expect good participation from across the diocese and all are welcome to join us with this year’s theme being
“Come and See”.
Participants throughout the ceremony will be representative of parishes throughout the diocese. Parishes are encouraged to bring their banner and to walk behind their respective banner during the rosary procession.
It is hoped that a group of young people will climb Croagh Patrick on the previous day, Saturday 5th June, and then meet up with the pilgrimage in Knock on Sunday. Anyone interested in joining this group on the climb is asked to contact Fr. Liam Morgan.
