The First ever Clane & Rathcoffey Duck Race will take place on Saturday 3rd July 2010 on the River Liffey. The ducks will be launched at 3.30pm from the Alexandra Bridge.
Racing ducks can be purchased at a cost of €5 each from the Parish shop, through any of the schools, or from participating shops in Clane Village. Participating ducks must register before being included in the race–registration begins at 2.30pm.
We are also holding a Duck Race colouring competition through the national schools. Entries must be returned to the school or the parish shop by the 25th June.
