A message from Fr Paul

A message from Fr Paul,

Greetings to all Clane and Rathcoffey Parishioners from Sydney, Australia. During my Sabbatical time I have been based here in St Canice’s Jesuit Parish at Elizabeth Bay helping out at Masses and doing some study. I have visited Family relations in New Zealand and a Columban Missionary Parish in Fiji which was a wonderful experience. At the moment I am doing two weeks Duty here in Kyneton Parish near Melbourne for an Irish Priest who is also home on Sabbatical. I arrived last Sunday Morning to say Mass in a country Church to find two Kangaroos standing in the Church Grounds looking at me so a little different from Clane and Rathcoffey! I am very grateful to Fathers Octavian and Laurence from Romania who have been supporting Fr Denis who is convalescing following his time in Hospital, I also thank Deacon John and Fr John from Cooleragh and all our excellent Parish Staff and volunteers for all their support to the Parish at this time. Fr. Kowlani from Zimbabwe will be helping in the Parish until Mid-October when I will be returning to the Parish again and look forward to seeing you all then,
With Best Wishes, Paul O’Boyle
