The death has occurred of Donal O’Donovan, Butterstream, Clane, Co. Kildare and late of Ballymahon, Co. Longford and Rtd. Det. Sgt., An Garda Siochana. December 19th 2025, peacefully at Naas General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine and father of the late Ronan. Deeply regretted by his loving children Deirdre, Shane, Brian, Donal and Aisling, daughters-in-law Mary, Eimear, Ruth, Mel and Christine, son-in-law Pauraic, grandchildren Donal, Aine, Keely, Ronan, Roisin, Charlie, Michéal, Isabelle, Ted, Heidi, James, Sadie, Evan, Lily, Evelyn and Louis, sister Anne, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 3pm, with concluding prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday from his residence at 10am to arrive at St. Patrick and St. Brigid’s Church, Clane for 10.30am funeral mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.
