The death has occurred of James (Jim) Agnew, Abbeypark, Clane, Co. Kildare. May 13th 2026, peacefully at Naas General Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Trish, sons David and Fintan, daughter-in-law Emma, grandchildren Harry and Rosie, brothers Trevor and Guy, sister Dee, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his loyal pets Heidi and Ted.

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 4-8pm. Removal from his residence by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Tuesday (May 19th) at approx. 11.30am to arrive at the Church of St. Patrick & St. Brigid, Clane for 12 noon funeral mass, followed by committal service in Newlands Cross Crematorium at approx. 2pm.


Ann McCreery (née Taaffe)

The death has occurred of Ann McCreery (née Taaffe) Gormanstown, Kilcullen, and formerly of Capdoo, Clane, Co. Kildare, May 1st 2026, peacefully at Naas General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her loving husband Peter, son Tom, brothers Pat, Bill and Toss and sister Lou. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving children Peter, Catherine, William, Nora and Mary, adored grandchildren Aisling, Niall and Annabel, sons-in-law Lorcan and Michael, daughters-in-law Rosario and Amanda, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane, on Monday (May 4th) from 4pm – 8pm with evening prayers at 7:30pm. Removal from Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane, on Tuesday (May 5th) at approx. 10.30am to arrive at the Church of St. Patrick and St. Brigid, Clane for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery.
