Prayer

God of life and death,
one life ends and another begins,
the cycle occurs again and again
many times we do not see this.
Hope filled cycle clearly
because of our pain.
What we give to others lives
on long after we die.
The goodness of a loved one can be stored
in our hearts as an unending treasure.
Thank you for the hope and
comfort this truth brings to me.
Thank you for the life and
goodness of my loved one.
