Well done to Joe Weldon, our latest jackpot winner in the Parish Lotto. The cheque for €9,500 was presented to Joe in the Parish Centre on Wednesday 11th January 2012. Teresa Galvin, the seller of the winning ticket won the promoter’s prize of €950, ten percent of the jackpot.
Joe is a faithful supporter of the parish lotto draw, having purchased a ticket each week since the draw started. He has used the same numbers each time, and they finally came up for him on Tuesday 20th December 2011.
Baptism Blessings 2012

On the Feast of the Baptism of The Lord, Sunday 8th january 2012, we were delighted to welcome back a large number of the children who were baptised during 2011 in Clane & Rathcoffey.
During the 11.30am Mass, each child received a special blessing from Fr Paul O’Boyle, and a gift of a Miraculous Medal from the members of the Baptism Team.
Fr Paul also thanked the parish Baptismal Ministers for the work which they do during the year in visiting the families of children who are to be baptised and helping them to prepare.
